The MK2 Mini era (around 68) had a rubber dust seal that fitted over the gearlever base and down around the alloy extension housing. This boot is not the exact replica, but can be fitted on all pre 72 Minis with the alloy gearshift extension (remote) to seal against mud and dust entry into the gearlever linkage.
