There is some real rubbish around in points and condensor - cheap for a reason.
This style of points suited the mini range for approximately 15 years.
They suited both side entry and top entry cap; early side entry had a slot in the side of the distributor for a nylon plate and pigtail wire. Later distributors had a hole that fed the wire from the points to the coil. All this range had a pin and nut holding the condensor wire on.
