Oil Filter element called a cartridge type. This sits inside the tin cannister located below your generator or alternator.
This element is version 2 in Minis and is slightly larger than 850s. Ithas a large hole at one end and small at the other. Comes with new large seal - approximate years were 1965 to 1975 late when a screw on oil filter was added. Generally the alloy housing had 2200 cast in, but not always.
