These pistons and rings have been manufactured specially with the performance engine in mind. designed by Graham Russell our Australian GURU on performance A series engines, these pistons compared to others are:
- approximately 35gram lighter,
- have a strong and lightweight gudgeon pin,
- have oil drillings in the oil ring area for superior strength,
- shorter skirt design for less friction,
- ring pack location is higher for superior sealing
- and the ring themselves are Japanese sourced and of high quality.
- the dish cc is 6 for sizes up to 72.50mm.
This size easily RECLAIMS BLOCKS BORED TO 060 as a good engine reconditioner can usually power hone to .074", and no offset boring is required.
