Roll pin is the correct name for this pin in the gearshift sleeve in a rod change gearbox. The pin and connectors wear, allowing very poor gearshift feel.
TIP: we loop wire through the pin on assembly so it cannot fall out.. "Murphy" works like a demon in this area.
